The Alaskan Hotel & Bar

Est. 1913

InstagramThe historic Alaskan Hotel is the oldest operating hotel in Juneau. The hotel was built during the Alaska Gold Rush. The well-preserved Victorian building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is located in the heart of Juneau’s Downtown Historic District.

What our guests are saying:

“It was so cool. Rustic, but the beds were new, linens were also new and comfy! The staff was so pleasant. Best deal in town! Close walking distance to everything there. Taxi’s a call away.”

“When booking please keep in mind that the rooms are quite small so this place is note for everyone. I think the amount of character in the building and it’s downtown location made up for that. We spent two nights here and had a wonderful stay!”

“Great hotel with a fun staff. It’s on the historical register so it’s old fashioned but still had all amenities there. Pictures make it look old but it was very clean and the history was very evident. Great location in downtown and within walking distance from so much.”
