Studios
Our studios are designed like small efficiency apartments, with TV, full kitchen, bathroom, and one queen bed. Room 311 and our Family Studio are the exceptions. Room 311 includes a queen bed and a queen loft bed, accommodating up to 4. Our Family Studio includes a queen bed and a couch which transforms into a double bed so it can also accommodate up to 4 people. Other studios may allow a maximum of 3 people with a rollaway bed.
- Suites: $200 - $260
Standard
Slightly smaller than studios, our standard rooms feature a private bath, TV, and optional 2-burner kitchenette (no oven). These rooms are available with one queen bed or 2 twin beds.
- Private Bath with queen bed or two twin beds: $160-$180
- Private Bath with queen bed or two twin beds with kitchenette: $180-$200
Economy
Our economy rooms allow us to provide affordable options for travelers just looking for a comfortable place to stay and may not require many amenities such as a private bathroom. These rooms feature a private shared bathroom*, with about 1-5 rooms sharing a bathroom depending on hotel occupancy. Economy rooms have a TV, in-room sink, and some offer kitchenettes. These rooms are available with a queen bed or two twin beds.
- Economy with shared bath: $140-$160
- Economy Shared Bath with kitchenette: $150-$170
*Private shared bathrooms are accessed by a code given at check-in and used by one guest at a time. Simply lock the door behind you and enjoy complete privacy until you are finished. The shared facilities are maintained by our housekeeping staff 9am-4pm daily.
Hotel Impossible Rooms
The Alaskan Hotel & Bar was featured on reality show Hotel Impossible in an episode titled, “Alaskan Heavyweights” which aired on January 27, 2014. They gently remodeled 5 of our rooms, while maintaining the late-Victorian elements of the hotel. Some of these rooms overlook the street below and are originally part of our infamous "bordello” past. Please be sure to let us know when booking if you’re interested in staying in a Hotel Impossible room!
