At the Alaskan Hotel & Bar we often use and respond to SMS text messaging as a way to keep in contact with guests and vendors. We require your written permission to do so

Most communications happen between 8am-4pm Alaska Time. The following terms and conditions apply to SMS communications to and from the Alaskan Hotel & Bar:

Example #2: Good morning front the Alaskan Hotel & Bar Front Desk! The time is now 10:30am. This a courtesy reminder that check out is by 11:00am. Thank you! We hope you have enjoyed your stay. Reply STOP at any time to opt-out of SMS Messaging with The Alaskan Hotel & Bar, Inc.

Example #3: Hello, this the Alaskan Hotel & Bar Front Desk. We are undergoing a plumbing project on the 3rd floor bathroom and water will be shut of 2pm to 3pm today. We apologize inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your patience during this process. Reply STOP at any time to opt-out of SMS Messaging with The Alaskan Hotel & Bar, Inc.

Messaging frequency may vary depending on the type of communication. You may typically expect to receive 0-1 messages per day unless you are having an SMS conversation with the Front Desk for any reason, such as check-in time, billing, etc.

Example:
“Message frequency may vary. You may receive up to 2 SMS messages per week regarding your appointments or account status.”

Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your phone plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.
