The Alaskan Hotel was built in 1913 and is not handicap accessible and has no elevators. Rooms are located on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors and no ground floor rooms.
Luggage storage is available at the hotel between check out and your departure.
A 14% room/sales tax is not included in all room rates.
A $50 security deposit is required for all walk-up guests paying in cash and will be refunded at check-out if there is no room damage or underpayment.
One dog or cat is allowed, with a $50 non-refundable pet fee.
Parking: street parking is available, here is the Downtown Parking Map. Public parking garages are approximately 2 blocks away.
Transportation from the airport is available via Taxi (approx. $25) or our city buses which run to the airport hourly from 9 am to 9 pm. Transportation from the ferry dock is via taxi (approx. $45) or by using a combination of taxi and bus service (approx. $20).
Hotel Policy
We do not charge your credit card until you arrive for your stay. You may cancel your reservation by contacting us directly. Reservations must be cancelled at least 1 day prior to your stay. If the reservation is not cancelled at least 1 day prior to your stay, your credit card will be charged for 1 nights stay for each room reserved.
**Prices vary during holidays and will increase in summer of 2023. If you are booking during New Years, Folk Fest, 4th of July weekend, or past April 30th please expect slightly higher pricing**
